Tonya Peele, MS is the Founder and CEO of Food & Me, a
healthy eating coaching and consulting company. Tonya is
an author, healthy lifestyle trainer, and Certified Wellness
Coach (CWC) through Wellcoaches, a US based training
institute endorsed by the American College of Sports
Medicine (ACSM).

Tonya became serious about her own health and wellness
more than 15 years ago and dropped 4 dress sizes by
adding more nourishing plant-based foods to her diet,
limiting her intake of meat and making regular physical
activity an integral part of her lifestyle.

     Before                                              After

Tonya understands the far-reaching health impact of a poor
diet. Her family, just like so many others, has been affected
by Type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure and cancer. Her
personal and professional experiences have contributed to a
deep passion for helping kids and their families live healthier
and happier lives.

In May 2009, Tonya was invited to appear on the
Rachael
Ray Show, alongside President Bill Clinton, to highlight her
efforts to promote nutritious food and daily physical fitness in
her son's school. After the show, Tonya and the former
President taped a
special video message to encourage
Moms across the nation to help fight childhood obesity by
promoting wellness programs in their kids' school.

Tonya founded
Food & Me to help families change the way
they eat by helping women use natural food to nourish their
bodies and protect the health of their families. Tonya has
written a new book,
Quick Wins for Healthy Eating: Easy
Changes You and Your Family Can Make Now!
(release
Winter 2010)
, to provide families with quick strategies for
cleaning up their diets and overcoming the many obstacles
that make healthier eating seem impossible.
